Trump draws rebuke after challenging long-standing U.S.-China policy on Taiwan

President-elect Donald Trump said the U.S. would not necessarily be bound by the One China policy unless it could "make a deal," potentially on U.S.-China trade. A Party-controlled newspaper in China called the president-elect "as ignorant as a child."
