A young bin Laden could energize a violent new chapter for al-Qaeda

Hamza bin Laden has vowed to seek revenge for the death of Osama bin Laden but is not advocating the same style of jihad as his father. The 28-year-old, viewed by experts as the crown prince of the global terrorism network, has called recently for attacks on European and North American cities to avenge the deaths of Syrian children killed in airstrikes. Al-Qaeda is making a play for the allegiance of the Islamic State's disaffected followers as well as legions of sympathizers around the world, analysts say.
