Gabriel Conde — who was a kindergartner on 9/11 — was killed in a firefight at age 22, the 2,264th member of the U.S. military to die in Afghanistan and the 16th since Donald Trump became commander in chief. In Conde's final text message to his parents, his said he was headed out on one more mission — "a great quest."
