Sri Lanka blasts were in retaliation for New Zealand mosque shootings, official says

The country's state minister for defense told parliament that initial investigations indicate the deadly bombings at churches and hotels were in response to mosque shootings in New Zealand that left 50 Muslims dead. He also acknowledged there were security lapses that allowed the attacks to occur.
