Don Bradway and his wife are among the vanguard moving to an area of the Pacific Northwest known as The American Redoubt. They and like-minded others have cashed out of the stock market and invested in gold and silver. They have readied stockpiles of food, and they melt lead to make their own bullets for hunting — or to defend themselves against marauders in the event of a world-changing cataclysm.
