This 21-year-old is mayor of an outer D.C. suburb

A year and a half ago, voters in Indian Head, Md., approved a revolution. They threw out longtime leaders and chose people who had never held elected office. Brandon Paulin, who was 19 at the time, won in a landslide. In the largely ceremonial job, the part-time college student — and state's youngest mayor — estimates he works more than 30 hours a week for $6,000 a year.
