Father-daughter stare down egg-cracking record

SILVERDALE, Wash. (AP) - The staccato, rapid-fire cracking of eggs is a ubiquitous sound in the kitchen of the Oak Table Café.

On an average day, owner Ross McCurdy says the Silverdale restaurant can go through 2,000 eggs. And with hungry customers waiting, time is imperative.
