Months after Irma battered Barbuda, islanders fear their cherished lifestyle may be lost forever

Before the Category 5 hurricane struck in September, the tiny Caribbean island with 1,700 residents was a forgotten Eden. But efforts to rebuild have reopened old wounds between Barbuda and its more developed neighbor Antigua, whose government insists the time has come for Barbuda to be dragged into the modern world.
