Witnesses said the driver of the vehicle shouted that he wanted to kill Muslims. One person was killed and 10 people were injured. The incident began when the van sped off the roadway and swerved onto a sidewalk that was crowded with hundreds of people who had just finished the day's final prayers for the holy month of Ramadan.
